Dr. Natacha Louis-Charles, O.D.

Dr. Natacha Louis-Charles graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She then went on to graduate from Salus University, formerly known as the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, with two degrees, a bachelor’s in visual science in 2001 and a Doctor of Optometry in 2004. She trained at Liva Eye Center, Lyons VA Medical Center, and the Eye Institute in Philadelphia. Dr. Charles specializes in primary eye care and contact lenses. She is extremely passionate about her profession, educating her patients on the importance of eye health and mentoring students interested in the medical field.

More about Dr. Louis-Charles

Dr. Natacha Louis-Charles is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Connecticut Optometric Association, and IDOC (Independent Doctors of Optometric Care).

Dr. Charles is a New York native. She grew up in Rockland County, New York, and currently resides in Milford, Connecticut. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, running, theatre, and art.

Dr. Harsida Desai, O.D.

Dr. Harsida Desai, a native of Connecticut, graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2013. She then went on to get her Doctorate in Optometry at the State University of New York College of Optometry, graduating in 2017. After graduation, she completed a Residency focused on Ocular Disease and Low Vision Rehabilitation at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in West Haven, Connecticut. There, she managed patients with various degrees of vision loss, helping them achieve functional vision to assist in their activities of daily living.

More about Dr. Desai

Passionate about giving back to the community, Dr. Desai has participated in humanitarian trips to both Nicaragua and Jamaica. She has also volunteered locally with the Lions Club. When not in the office, Dr. Desai loves spending time outside, going hiking, and playing tennis. A self-proclaimed “foodie,” she also enjoys experimenting in the kitchen cooking plant-based recipes and trying new cuisines.

Dr. Caitlin Imbrogno, O.D.

Dr. Caitlin Imbrogno completed her undergraduate education at Fordham University where she received a BS in Biological Sciences. She then attended the Illinois College of Optometry where she graduated cum laude and received the Luckhardt Memorial Scholarship and the Good-Lite Pediatric awards for excellence in pediatric optometry and vision therapy. She was also inducted into the Gold Key Optometric Society in Leadership and Beta Sigma Kappa and Tomb and Key Honor fraternities.   

More about Dr. Imbrogno

Dr. Imbrogno furthered her education by completing the Irwin B. Suchoff residency in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation at the Raymond J. Greenwald Rehabilitation Center at the SUNY College of Optometry. Her particular areas of interest during the residency were binocular vision, visionrelated learning problems, and head trauma rehabilitation. Dr. Imbrogno was awarded the Martin Birnbaum award for outstanding knowledge and skill in behavioral optometry, awarded to only one resident per class. She also served as the National Resident Liaison for the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD). Following her residency, Dr. Imbrogno worked in private practice for a number of years, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. Most recently, Dr. Imbrogno served as a mobile optometrist bringing integrated eye care to geriatric and other bed-bound patients in long-term care facilities. 

Dr. Imbrogno is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and an associate member of COVD. She enjoys treating patients of all ages from six months to 100+. Being a mom herself, she especially loves her pediatric patients. 
 
Outside the office, Dr. Imbrogno can be found volunteering at a local animal shelter, playing soccer, or spending precious time with her husband and two kids. 

Sophia Ambroise-Mocarski

Sales Consultant

Sophia is very passionate about providing our patients with excellent service and loves meeting new people and listening to them share their life experiences. Sophia has always wanted to be in the medical field and graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute in 2019. In her personal time, Sophia is into fitness and loves helping others achieve their health and body goals.

Celeste Rodriquez

Lab and Ophthalmic Technician

Celeste takes pride in helping others and making sure patients have the best experience in our office. She graduated from the Medical Billing and Coding program at the Connecticut Center for Arts and Technology in 2021. In her free time, she participates on a recreational dance team, spends time with family, and mentors youth at her church.

Deborah Weyel

Optical Lead Sales Consultant

Debbie has a great passion for the eyecare field. What started with her first pair of glasses at the age of 13 led to over 30 years of experience in the industry. In addition to managing an optometry practice for many years, she excelled in a career in high-end optical sales. When not helping others, she enjoys cooking, reading on the beach, kayaking, and spending time with her family.

Annellise Rivera-Velazquez

Ophthalmic Technician and Sales Consultant

Annellise was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She came to the US when she was 14 years old for better education opportunities and health care. She went to Bridgeport Military Academy high school and was a cadet in the Civil Air Patrol. Annellise is a medical assistant and phlebotomy technician. Before she started working at Family Eyecare of Orange, she worked as a PCA and CNA working with elders. Working with elders gave her the motivation to grow in the medical field. During her free time, she enjoys reading out in nature, watching the sunset, cooking, and taking care of her plants.

Mariana Lopez

Ophthalmic Technician

Mariana has always been passionate about the medical field, beginning her journey by taking EMT courses. She later graduated from Lincoln Tech as a Medical Assistant and joined Family Eyecare of Orange for her externship, where she discovered her love for eye care and decided to pursue a career in the field. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, traveling, and exploring theatre and art.
